St James' Guild volunteers

Indoors :our beautiful Grade II* listed building and churchyard are looked after by teams of volunteers, traditionally called the St James' Guild.  Our cleaning team works in pairs  for an hours or so every six to eight weeks to ensure the church and Genner rooms are   kept safe and hygienic. If you would like to serve your community contact Gill Bennie, our church administrator who draws up the rota.

Outdoors: gardening and tidying in the churchyard happens from March to November. Recently teams have been limited to two people, but we hope bigger groups will be able to enjoy working in larger groups and tackle more substantial tasks. If you enjoy outdoor exercise there is a role for you!

Flowers: A team of talented flower-arrangers provide beautiful displays for church
festivals and services. If you would like to contribute flowers or arrangements, however, simple please contact Gill Bennie.
